Hallowe'en 2003: Welcome to the "Lesser-Known Superhero
Convention" where you can purchase many Superhero Essentials, such as
Crime Computers, Capes, Rocket Powered Vehicles, Masks, Butlers, Secret
Cave Timeshares, Grappling Hooks, etc. While there, attend one of
the many lectures on things like "How to Sneak Around Town Effectively",
"Cover Identities Workshop: Glasses and Sports Coats- Why They Work", "Let
the Judge Decide: How to Interface with Local Law Enforcement", "Holy
Lecture Talk, Batman! (What Your Tagline Says About You)" and more.
It is a place where Superheroes learn about crime fighting innovations,
eat canapés and network. We had an elaborate soundtrack, which
included the obvious "It's Not Easy to be Me" by Five for Fighting and
"Believe It Or Not I'm Walking On Air" by Joey Scarbury, but also such
songs as "Rescue Me" sung by Aretha Franklin, "Wind Beneath My Wings" (Did
you ever know that you're my heeeeeerrrroooooooo?) and, of course, several
TV superhero songs, including the Superchicken Theme song. |

| You've heard of Super Chicken? This is Super Size Chicken. No further comment required. |
Jill just kept saying "I'm super"... not sure
she had an actual name. She made her outfit out of a pimp costume. |
even the dog got into it |

"Hot Man" served hot dogs and sausages to the
starving masses throughout the night. He also attended to the fire
and other localized disasters. |
I'm the "Duct Tape Dominatrix", although I
think the costume might look better on my Mom's mannequin. Note the
"Pow", "Boffo" etc signs hanging everywhere, we also had a phone
spray-painted red and a Superman shrine. |
