July 12th 2003:
Pierre and Kristi had their Mediaeval Fantasy Wedding at Shumway Mansion
near Seattle. Everyone had cute titles instead of boring old "Maid
of Honor", etc. Jonathan was the "Master Vizier" instead of "Best
Man". A lot of folks dressed up and there were some impressive
costumes. Lois won the Best Costume contest, but I think that was
due more to her being hot then how spectacular her dress was.
Speaking of heat... it was very hot the day of the wedding. Luckily
they fashioned the programs into fans, which was a great idea. I
wore a hoop skirt, which also facilitated lots of air circulation.
