Cruise photos are up as well as pics of the house and a few parties we've had along the way. There is more coming soon as I take the time to put them up. Surprisingly enough we had a great time on the cruise, being waited on and reading books, I just wish I'd slept more during the day, since the ship moves at night and the vibration kept me awake. The last day where they had to sail (propel?) very fast to get back to LA, was especially tough. So it was incredibly relaxing but I felt really tired at the end since I didn't sleep nearly enough. We definitely want to do one to Alaska now.

I continue to be really busy, I have a job going on now that is really heating up, and then I leave directly from there to fly to SB for a meeting on another job. Then high-tail it back to hang out with our houseguests for the weekend: Eric and Mel. Yay! I wish I had time to like plan excursions and stuff... but it might work better to play it by ear depending on what they feel like doing. Perhaps we'll just spend the whole time working on Mel's web site or cute invites for her upcoming birthday bash? There are still boxes everywhere, but the guest room and bath are totally box-free, so hopefully that will all even things out. It is just way too hot to be carrying books up 2 flights of stairs all day.

"work"

I am in the process of creating a web site for my Mom who in an indescribable artist. (meaning, I tell people she is an artist and when they say "oh what kind?" I have a handfull of snarky comebacks like repeating "an artist" or "lotsa kinds" or "she paints anything that isn't nailed down, oh no wait, she paints those too")

sheepfloozy.com

yeah I know it is only one page, but it will be more as soon as the job, after the job, after the job, I'm working on now is done.

layout work

I have a job doing layout... just layout. No writing or coordinating, just make stuff look good using inDesign. Well my way of "making it look good" was obviously to improve the layouts, but also to make information easier to access with bands of color and use more photos and graphics. I pushed them to find images to use on every page. Here are the before and after of a typical resume. Since the company is selling services, their people are what matters, so they include resumes in all their proposals highlighting key staff.
